Andy Reade – Managing Director

Andy trained as a "signwriter" on leaving school and learned his trade working alongside an expert sole trader before moving to a company specialising in vehicle signwriting and local fascia signs. This was followed by a spell at a large Government establishment where he found his skills underused. With a fresh mortgage and a pregnant wife, he decided to start his own company.

He started Reade Signs in his back bedroom in 1980. By 1985, he was successful enough to move the company to a small start-up unit in Ash Vale. The company had two further moves before they settled on their current location in Holder Road, Aldershot in August 2003.

Andy's decision in 1980 had no detrimental effect on his marriage or the pregnancy. He is still married and now has three children.
