The graphics students were invited into Reade Signs' design studio where they were able to see, first-hand, the process of transforming their artwork into the mural. Head of Art for Connaught School, Youli Hamblin said: "Working alongside the professional graphic designers at Reade Signs gave the students valuable insight and experience."

The mural is the result of an initiative by The Wilky Group, which is developing the new Aldershot Centre for Health for Hampshire Primary Care Trust and the Ministry of Defence.

As well as creating an eye-catching façade for the site, the project supported the Government's 'Every Child Matters' campaign, which teams up organisations including schools and health trusts to work together for the welfare of young people.
